We are pleased to announce that Statseeker v25.2 is now available.

Statseeker v25.2 includes updates to device management, a new discovery scheduler and expanded vendor support.

We’ve changed our product version naming to a YEAR.QUARTER format. This supports our objective to move to more frequent release cycles, which means increased product updates and new features. This is a name change only. It doesn’t impact licenses or upgrade paths. For further details, please see Product Version Naming FAQ.

Here’s a summary of what you can expect from v25.2:

Improved Device Management

Statseeker v25.2 includes a new Manage Devices page in the Admin tool, enabling you to make changes to your devices and interfaces, quickly and easily.

  • Viewing and updating configuration data for devices and interfaces.
  • Enabling/disabling polling for devices and interfaces.
  • Retiring or deleting devices.
  • Filters for devices and interfaces needing configuration attention.
  • Make bulk changes, no need to create auto-grouping rules.
  • Additional filtering functionality to help search for specific devices and interface based on key meta data.

Cisco ACI Module Updates

The Cisco ACI module has been updated to incudes all default, out-of-the-box dashboards, improving the user experience and enabling you to showcase Cisco CI data once collection has started.

The Cisco ACI module now supports MAC/IP data at one hour intervals and includes a new custom report: ‘ACI RS Client Endpoint to Path Endpoint’. Support for one hour MAC/IP data collection delivers the functionality to find a MAC or IP attached to a leaf and to identify the associated port within your Cisco ACI environment.

New! Discovery Scheduler

Customize and schedule discovery and rewalk processes through a new, easy-to-use panel in ‘Discover My Network’. Statseeker v25.2 gives you the ability to define new discovery schedules to suit your requirements.

  • Set up and save schedules for SNMP and PING-only devices to automate your Statseeker discovery with greater flexibility.
  • Multiple schedule support for monitoring dynamic networks.

Backup Improvements

Improvements have been made to the logging of backup faults and warning messages displayed in the console. Backups now display information to help you identify the backup source, when it last ran, and the size of the backup file.

Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP):

  • Supports backup to Windows server versions 2019, 2022, 2025
  • Backups are encrypted in transit

Diagnostic Data Improvements

Statseeker v25.2 includes new options for selecting diagnostic data sections to export. It provides a history of prior diagnostic data exports, giving context to prior issues and system configuration changes. All exported diagnostic data is encrypted.

Expanded Data Type and Vendor Support

We’ve added new SNMP data types in Statseeker v25.2 to extend our vendor support, including:

  • Cisco SD-WAN connection and BFD metrics
  • Power State Supply – Cisco, Extreme, F5, HP/Aruba
  • Cisco ACI – MAC IP Endpoint data
